The village surrounds the 16th century castle which overlooks the houses below. San Dalmazzo Parish Church, the Church of the Holy Shroud and Casa Cottalord, also known as Casa Rossa (the Red House).
Castellinaldo is one of the 23 municipalities in the Roero district, which offers splendid landscapes, typical cuisine and excellent wines. The gently rolling hills, dotted with vineyards, uncontaminated woods and medieval castles, are the favourite destination of tourists in search of artistic treasures, ancient legends and natural delicacies cooked to traditional recipes.
The area is home to a variety of excellent quality products: mushrooms, truffles, honey and numerous varieties of peaches, pears, strawberries, chestnuts and asparagus.
Just a few kilometres from Castellinaldo lie the towns of Alba and Bra, along with the interesting Langhe and Monferrato districts which offer numerous opportunities for relaxation and leisure.
